The job included new tires, refurbished wheels with the ProtectaClear coating and DynaBeads installed in the tires for balance. 2wheeldad Sun, 07 Mar 2010 12:10:53 -0500 Up on jack stands http://www.ridersrally.org/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=4371

by: 2wheeldad

Description: This is how I set up the bike for removal of the tires. First I used two ratchet straps to tie the center stand to the front engine guard bars. Then I used a floor jack to raise the front tire off the floor. Removed the front tire. Then I let the floor jack down far enough so the rear tire could be slid out under the left saddle bag. I had to remove the left muffler but I don't think I would have had to remove the rear fender. I don't have a motorcycle jack, so I just used what I do have. 2wheeldad Sun, 07 Mar 2010 12:00:24 -0500 Storage in the Bike Barn http://www.ridersrally.org/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=4370

by: 2wheeldad 2wheeldad Sun, 07 Mar 2010 11:58:55 -0500 The Bike Barn http://www.ridersrally.org/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=4369

by: 2wheeldad

Description: Year long storage for both of my bikes, camping stuff and other miscellaneous items. The lean-to is for my John Deere lawn tractor/snow blower and other lawn related items. It is surprising how comfortable it is to work in the barn with a little infrared heat. I can sit or lay right on the floor without getting cold. It probably helps that the floor is almost a foot off the ground. I built this with my own drawings in the day of pencil and paper. Now I use CAD for most everything I make at home and work. (I used CAD for the lean-to addition in '08. That is a steel structure.) 2wheeldad Sun, 07 Mar 2010 11:57:17 -0500
