All of a sudden my front brake handle is loose and shaking like a leaf in the wind.
Brake lights stay on 100% of the time unless I push the brake handle forward towards the mirror. As soon as I let go of the handle all the brake lights go on and stay on. All this
a day before a planned trip to California from Chicago. Any ideas ?

The plunger in the master cylinder may be sticking, try to flush it out with water as I do in the car wash, if this doesnt clear it you can use some electrical cleaner to spray in there.
